Event Terms
About these terms
These terms apply when you book a ticket for a Gwen’s Garden class, workshop, herb walk, Qigong session or talk. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms alongside our general Terms & Conditions.
Booking and confirmation
When you book a ticket through our website, you’ll receive an order confirmation and ticket by email. Please bring this confirmation, or have it available on your phone, when you attend.
Ticket transfers
Tickets can be transferred to another person. Please let us know the new attendee’s name and contact details in advance, by emailing info@gwensgarden.co.uk, so we can update our records.
Cancellations by you
If you can no longer attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds and rescheduling depend on how much notice you give:
- More than 7 days before the event: full refund or transfer to another date, where available
- Within 7 days of the event: we’re unable to offer a refund, but we’ll try to help you transfer your ticket to someone else or a future date where possible
Cancellations by us
Occasionally we may need to cancel or reschedule an event — for example due to low bookings, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
Weather
Herb walks and outdoor sessions take place in most weather conditions. In the case of genuinely unsafe conditions, we’ll contact you to reschedule or offer a refund. Please check your email and dress appropriately for the forecast on the day.
Minimum attendance
Some sessions require a minimum number of bookings to go ahead. If a session doesn’t reach this minimum, we’ll let you know in good time and offer a refund or the option to transfer to another date.
Accessibility
If you have any accessibility needs or questions about whether an event is suitable for you, please contact us before booking so we can help you decide, or make reasonable adjustments where possible. Accessibility information specific to each event, including venue, terrain and meeting point, is shown on the individual event listing.
Attendee conduct
We want every session to be a safe, respectful space for everyone attending. We ask that all attendees behave considerately towards Laura and other participants. We reserve the right to ask someone to leave a session, without refund, if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others.
Photography
Photographs may occasionally be taken during classes, walks and events for use on our website and social media. If you’d prefer not to be included in any photographs, please let us know when you arrive and we’ll respect this.
Health and safety
Attending an event is at your own risk. Please let us know in advance of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or mobility considerations so we can support you appropriately. Herbal classes and walks are educational and do not replace medical advice — please see our Product Disclaimer for more detail.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
